Coral Gachassin-Lafite Her inspiration comes from a joyful mixture of breathtaking raw materials which nature provides. Quartz, turquoise, citrine, coral and pearls are, among others, some of the ingredients that she combines to achieve a magical balance of shapes and color. This is the craft of this Cuban-American designer based in Miami, FL.  Even though Coral Gachassin-Lafite completed a degree in economics from Humboldt University in Berlin, her passion for the arts geared her efforts toward developing her skills as a painter and a makeup artist. She later put her skills to a test by working in several main-stream communications companies such as Sony Disco, MGM, People Magazine, Univision, Discovery Channel and Cosmopolitan. That's why there is such a close connection between her makeup craft and the way she envisions her jewelry designs. Both rely strongly on a subtle sensibility for the way shapes and color can reach absolute harmony in order to enhance the ultimate canvas, every woman's natural beauty. When that is achieved, a strong fashion statement is made by those women who wear GL not only with a flawless sense of style, but with a sense of communion with her inner beauty, which is perfect and glorious.
